Caustic Soda 98% Flake / Pearls

Caustic Soda 98% Flake / Pearls is the base alkali of industry, used wherever strong caustic action is required. Gulf Multi Trading supplies it as part of our inorganic chemicals range, with material held in the UAE and backed by full batch documentation.

It is supplied as white flakes, pearls or beads — highly hygroscopic, in technical / rayon grade, 98–99%, with an assay of 98.0% min. The CAS number is 1310-73-2 and the molecular formula is NaOH.

• Soap, detergent and liquid cleaner manufacture
• CIP cleaning in food, dairy and beverage plants
• pH correction and effluent neutralisation in water treatment
• Alumina refining, pulp and paper, and textile mercerising
• Petroleum refining and biodiesel transesterification

Packing, storage and handling

Standard packing is 25 kg PP bag with PE liner · 1000 kg jumbo bag. Store in dry, sealed store — absorbs moisture and CO2 from air. Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored as specified.
