Sodium Dichromate

Sodium Dichromate is a strong chromium(VI) oxidiser used in metal finishing and leather tanning. Gulf Multi Trading supplies it as part of our inorganic chemicals range, with material held in the UAE and backed by full batch documentation.

It is supplied as orange to red crystalline solid, in technical grade, 98% min, with an assay of 98.0% min. The CAS number is 10588-01-9 and the molecular formula is Na2Cr2O7·2H2O.

Applications of Sodium Dichromate

Packing, storage and handling

Standard packing is 25 kg PE-lined drum · 50 kg drum. Store in dry, segregated store away from organics and reducing agents. Shelf life is 36 months from the date of manufacture when stored as specified.
