Cyclohexylamine 99.5%

Cyclohexylamine 99.5% is a volatile neutralising amine that protects steam and condensate systems from corrosion. Gulf Multi Trading supplies it as part of our amines & derivatives range, with material held in the UAE and backed by full batch documentation.

It is supplied as clear colourless to pale yellow liquid with a strong fishy amine odour, in technical grade, 99.5% min, with an assay of 99.5% min. The CAS number is 108-91-8 and the molecular formula is C6H13N.

Applications of Cyclohexylamine 99.5%

Typical applications include:

• Neutralising amine in boiler feedwater and condensate systems
• Vapour-phase corrosion inhibitor for metal packaging and transport
• Rubber vulcanisation accelerator intermediate
• Intermediate for cyclamate and agrochemical synthesis

Packing, storage and handling

Standard packing is 160 kg MS drum · 1000 L IBC. Store in cool, ventilated store away from acids and oxidisers. Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored as specified.
