DCP

DCP is a neutral calcium-phosphate salt used for fortification, tabletting and feed. Gulf Multi Trading supplies it as part of our phosphates range, with material held in the UAE and backed by full batch documentation.

It is supplied as white powder or granules, in food / USP grade (anhydrous or dihydrate) · feed grade, with an assay of 98.0% min. The CAS number is 7757-93-9 and the molecular formula is CaHPO4.

Applications of DCP

Common uses in production:

• Direct-compression tablet excipient in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacture
• Calcium and phosphorus fortification in cereals and flour
• Polishing agent in toothpaste and oral care
• Mineral supplement in poultry, cattle and aqua feed

Packing, storage and handling

Standard packing is 25 kg paper bag with PE liner. Store in dry storage. Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored as specified.
