Sodium CMC is a cellulose-derived thickener that builds viscosity and protects protein in acid systems. We carry it within our thickeners & hydrocolloids line and supply it to manufacturers across the UAE, the GCC and East Africa.
It is supplied as white to cream granular powder, in food grade, viscosity 1000–2000 mPa·s (1%), with an assay of degree of substitution 0.7–0.9. The CAS number is 9004-32-4.
